When my colleague Steve Keller first asked if I wanted to join him in Dubai, I assumed it was a phishing scam. It wasn’t—the invitation was real, and the timing was perfect.

After years working in automotive, I’ve come to embody what I jokingly call an “auto-unicorn”—someone who understands how sound, story, and sensorial design can coexist inside machines. Speaking about that intersection to a global audience focused on the future of experience was an honor.

I shared the stage with remarkable thinkers, explored the emotional strategy behind product sound, and discussed how to compose meaningfully across complex ecosystems. Along the way, I caught a few inspiring talks, met new collaborators, and—yes—crossed paths with Chingy, the original brand disruptor.

It was one of those moments that reminds you: the work travels farther than you think.
