At the behest of a close friend, I began composing again.

If you haven’t picked up on it by now, I move through moments of time with my art and creativity. I’ll hyper-focus for months (or weeks) on a specific dialect—sculpture, collage, music composition—and during those runs, I’m prolific. The goal is always the same: end the sprint with a few, or even one, exemplary piece.

I composed this yesterday. The score is 1:50 TRT. It’s an exercise in restraint. Minimalism is a discipline—know when to stop, put it away, and let it breathe.

I’ve listened to it several hundred times since. It’s a life-pulse. An early-morning field covered in fog. Marching soldiers emerging from the mist. The taste of victory—knowing the battle never ends.

NO INTERNET CONNECTION

I found this track partially started in my music folder and decided it was too good to leave unfinished. After completing it i went into my art folder brought a folder called BnW (black and white) into After Effects and sequenced it. It worked.
